How it works
Simple, respectful, and built around your day
No calling around, no waiting lists, no taking a day off. Five steps from first click to certified.
1. Choose your time
Open the Helping Hands calendar, see real availability, and claim the slot that works — a weekday evening, a Saturday morning, before your shop opens. You are not choosing from someone else's business hours.
2. Tell us about your group
Individual, household, workplace team, or community group — and roughly how many learners. We match you to the right package and instructor-to-learner ratio.
3. Pick the place
Your living room, break room, classroom, fellowship hall, barbershop, or a community room we help you find. All we need is clear floor space, seating, and an outlet.
4. Get your prep note
A short, plain-language note with what to wear, how long to plan, parking or entry details, and the roster link for groups.
5. Train, practice, certify
Hands-on compressions, rescue breathing, choking relief, and AED practice — then a skills check at your own pace. We handle the completion paperwork and remind you before your card expires.
After you book
You will never be left wondering what happens next.
- 1
Confirmation
You get a written confirmation with your date, time window, package, and what you paid or still owe. If anything looks off, one reply fixes it.
- 2
Choose & confirm your venue
We agree on the exact address and room. We only need clear floor space, seating, and an outlet. No space that works? We help you find a community room.
- 3
Prep details
A short prep note arrives ahead of time: what to wear, how long to plan for, parking or entry instructions, and any pre-reading. Rosters for group bookings are collected here.
- 4
Class day
Your instructor arrives early with manikins, AED trainers, and supplies. Instruction is hands-on, paced for real people, with breaks and questions welcome throughout.
- 5
Certification follow-up
After your skills check we submit your completion and follow up with your card and a renewal reminder before it expires. Questions afterward are always free.
