Certification info

What you receive, and when

Clear expectations before you book: what proof of completion you get, how long your class runs, what happens after it ends, and how to access or replace your proof later.

Setup needed: Credential details are unconfirmed drafts

Helping Hands has not yet published a confirmed credential name, issuing organization, or validity period on this site, so this page does not claim one. The exact credential you receive depends on the course and the training-center authorization Helping Hands teaches under, and it must be confirmed before launch.

If your employer, school, or licensing board requires a specific credential, ask us first and we will confirm whether the class matches before you pay.

Fields to fill in: src/lib/certification.ts.

What participants receive

Every participant who attends the full session and completes the hands-on skills check receives written proof of course completion. Attendance alone is not enough — the skills check is part of the class, and your instructor will keep working with you until you can perform the steps.

What we can say honestly today:

  • You will receive written proof that you completed the course and skills check.
  • Your proof will name the course, the date, and the instructor who conducted the skills check.
  • Whether that proof satisfies a specific employer, school, or licensing requirement depends on the credential — ask us and we will confirm in writing before you book.

What happens after the class

  1. 1

    Skills check on class day

Before your session ends, your instructor confirms you can perform compressions, breaths, choking relief, and AED use. There is no written exam surprise — you practice until the check is comfortable.

  2. 2

    Completion is recorded

Your instructor records who completed the class and submits the roster. Group bookings get a completion summary for the organization's records.

  3. 3

    Proof of completion is issued

Typically within a few business days of your class. You receive it by email at the address on your registration. EDITABLE — confirm the exact issuance timeline and format before launch.

  4. 4

    You save and share it

Download it, keep a copy in your files, and forward it to an employer, school, or licensing board as needed.

  5. 5

    Renewal reminder

Before your proof expires we send a reminder with a link to book a Renewal / Refresher session — again on your own schedule.

When and how your proof is issued

Timing
Typically within a few business days of your class. Editable
Delivery
Sent by email to the address on your registration, as part of the completion follow-up message. Group bookings can have copies sent to the organizer as well.
If something is wrong
A misspelled name, a wrong email, or a missing copy is a quick fix — contact us and we will correct and re-issue it.

Setup needed: Automated issuance emails need an email service

Until an email service (Resend or SendGrid) is connected, completion follow-ups are sent by hand from Th3helpinghands@gmail.com. Nothing on this site sends email automatically yet.

Accessing, sharing, and replacing your proof

Emailed to you

Your proof of completion arrives at the email address on your registration. Check spam/promotions if you do not see it.

Download and save

The message includes a downloadable copy. Save it somewhere you can find later — a phone album, cloud drive, or printed copy in your files.

Share with an employer or school

Forward the file, or share the download link. If your employer needs verification directly from us, ask and we will supply confirmation of your completion.

Lost it? Request a replacement

Contact us with your name, class date, and approximate location and we will re-issue your copy. EDITABLE — confirm whether a replacement fee applies.

Need a replacement or a verification letter?

Send your name, the class date, and where the class was held. We will locate your completion record and re-issue your proof.

Setup needed: Self-service proof download needs a records system

There is no participant login or self-service download portal on this site yet. Proof is issued and re-issued by email. If self-service access is wanted later, it needs a registration database plus participant accounts — tell us and we will scope it.
